Twice a month Workforce sends out teams of individuals to scheduled jobs in the community. We are comprised of tradesmen with a wide variety of skills and talents. Jobs ranging from painting and leaf raking to plumbing and tiling are all within our sphere of ability. Our mission is to offer a helping hand to anyone who has a need.

Workforce is a Christ-centered volunteer organization with the purpose of spreading God’s love to the community at large, by using our specific gifts and talents to help others outside the church building.

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” Matthew 9:35

In reading through the Gospels one phrase is repeated constantly – “Jesus went…” So often we are caught up in the idea of church and how we can make our churches more “visitor friendly.” Jesus had no home church. If you were to examine where Jesus had his ministry, you would find that it was with the people. Where the crowds were, that is where you would find Christ. He didn’t wait in Galilee, Nazareth or even his hometown of Bethlehem. Jesus went where people were in need.

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. 1 Corinthians 3:9

Workforce is a group of men who have come to realize Christ’s mission here on earth. He came to seek and save those who are lost. It is our mission to take this message of our Savior to our community. We hope to find those who are in need of help. We are committed to helping all who need a hand.
